 The problem with competent, well rounded defensive
drivers is that they suffer from skill decay.

- Because everyday driving does not require all the skills that
one learns and develops we loose some of our ability through not using those skills.
For example, when was the last time you braked and felt the ABS working?
A defensive driving sessions does not have to be
intense (although it can be you need it); these sessions are usually road-based
(closed-road activities will be used if relevant) and do not require you to drive inexcess
of the speed limit.

two years.
